The Atlas Firewall is a custom-built solution that leverages the performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness of open source technology and combines it with our years of networking and security expertise to provide enterprise-class features without the ongoing maintenance fees or per-user license costs of other comparable products from Cisco, SonicWALL, or WatchGuard.
Secure wireless networking
At Atlas T.C., we believe that no business wireless network should be deployed without fully protecting it with the strongest encryption available. Currently, our most basic network uses commodity wireless routers with WPA2 encryption. This is the most inexpensive solution, but it should only be used by trusted employees, and the encryption key needs to be changed periodically.
For businesses who would like to offer some degree of wireless to customers and guests without exposing their internal business data, Atlas offers a business-class wireless network that uses multiple SSIDs and inter-network firewalls to provide guests access to the internet while allowing employees full internal network access. At this level, access to the trusted wireless network can be tied to enterprise login credentials through the use of 802.11i authentication or captive portals.
Network access control
Through the use of MAC address whitelisting and captive portals (optionally integrated with your RADIUS server), the Atlas firewall can restrict access to wired and wireless network to only authorized users and/or trusted computers.
